Reminder - Get a Special Celebi with Pokémon Gold or Pokémon Silver

The launch of classics Pokémon Gold and Pokémon Silver as Virtual Console games on Nintendo eShop is about to get even better. As a bonus for purchasing one of these great games for the Nintendo 3DS system, Trainers will get a code that unlocks the Mythical Pokémon Celebi in their Pokémon Sun or Pokémon Moon games. Or, Trainers can hold on to the code and use it in the upcoming Pokémon Ultra Sun or Pokémon Ultra Moon games when they launch on November 17, 2017.

To get your code for Celebi:

Launch Nintendo eShop in your Nintendo 3DS System.
Select Menu in the top-left corner.
Select Settings/Other.
Select Account Activity.
Select View Receipt on your Pokémon Gold or Pokémon Silver purchase.
The serial code will be displayed in the purchase details.

To get Celebi in your Pokémon Sun, Pokémon Moon, Pokémon Ultra Sun, or Pokémon Ultra Moon game:

Write down the code from your Pokémon Gold or Pokémon Silver game.
Select Mystery Gift on the main menu.
Select Receive Gift.
Select Get with Code/Password, then Yes, and then Yes again to connect to the internet.
Enter your code.
Watch as you receive Celebi.
Speak to the delivery person in any Pokémon Center to pick up Celebi.
Be sure to save your game!

Celebi can't be obtained through normal gameplay, and this is the first opportunity you'll be able to get this Pokémon as a gift in these games. Only one Celebi can be claimed per code. The code will appear when Pokémon Gold or Pokémon Silver is purchased in Nintendo eShop between September 22, 2017 and September 21, 2018. Enter the code by October 31, 2018 to claim Celebi in your Pokémon Sun, Pokémon Moon, Pokémon Ultra Sun, or Pokémon Ultra Moon game. Celebi will not be available for your Pokémon Gold or Pokémon Silver game.
