Pokemon GO - Gen III datamine points to a mistake with Latios/Latias

Latios and Latias are legendary Pokemon part of Generation III. They will indeed be part of the upcoming Gen 3 update for Pokemon GO, but according to dataminers, there's an issue Niantic needs to fix with the pair.

For whatever reason, Latios and Latias have their gender swapped in Pokemon GO. This is most likely a mistake, but as of right now, the game's data shows Latios as female, and Latias as male. There's still time to fix the error before the Gen III update goes live, and I'm sure Niantic will do just that.
