NBA 2K18’s free demo, The Prelude, coming this Friday, September 8

nba 2k18 prelude

EA Sports has released a demo to get basketball fans excited for its upcoming game, NBA Live 18. Not to be outdone, 2K will be dropping its free demo, NBA 2K18: The Prelude, on Friday, September 8 at 12 a.m. ET on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. What a great time to be a fan of basketball video games.

In The Prelude, players will get to play inside The Neighborhood, a new experience that combines the different features from the game into a cohesive world. Just think of it like the NBA meeting a Grand Theft Auto… except without the killing, jacking cars, racing, visiting a strip club and etc. (Okay, forget what I said.)

To get a sneak peek at the Prelude, check out the trailer below:

Don’t worry about having to recreate your experience. You’ll be able to continue where you left off from The Prelude into the full game when it releases on September 15, 2017.

Earlier 2K released a trailer for The Neighborhood that shows off how big its world is. In the previous games, you were able to play ball with strangers and friends on the street courts, soon you’ll be able to do other fun activities with them.

To get started on Friday morning, simply visit the PlayStation Store or Xbox Live and search for NBA 2K18.
