L.A. Noire coming to Switch, VR, PS4, and Xbox One

L.A. NoireIt’s been over six years since famed developer Rockstar Games introduced the world to L.A. Noire, a detective game set in 1940s Los Angeles. Now the game is being re-released on current-gen consoles including the Nintendo Switch and a virtual reality experience based on the game, L.A. Noire: The VR Case Files, for the HTC Vive.

This will be the first time Rockstar has supported a Nintendo console since Bully: Scholarship Edition on Wii in 2009. Even though it will cost $10 more on the Switch, they will not be skimping out on this port by adding console-specific features such as HD rumble, motion controls, new over-the-shoulder camera angles, and utilization of the touch screen to be used while playing in handheld mode. The PS4 and Xbox One versions will have additions of their own, including enhanced visuals as well as 4K support for PS4 Pro and Xbox One X.

As for the HTC Vive game The VR Case Files, they will include seven self-contained cases from the original game “rebuilt specifically for virtual reality.”

L.A. Noire along with The VR Case Files will be released on November 14 for Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and HTC Vive. All the DLC from the original PS3 and 360 game will be included in these new ports.
