‘It: Chapter 2’ gets a release date

I can’t stop talking about the film that has redefined American horror literally overnight! Not only has this film surpassed expectations, but It has also broken so many records in the process. If you’ve seen the film, you know that at the end, it’s obvious that there will be a sequel. The question that has been on everyone’s mind, however, was when?

Today, New Line Cinema and Warner Bros. both announced the release date to the second chapter to this horror epic! It: Chapter 2 will make its way to fans September 6, 2019, where it will debut in both regular theaters and IMAX screens. Whether you’re a fan of the writer Stephen King’s work or not, one cannot deny the impact of this film. We’re not just talking about the lackluster summer we’ve had, but in terms of the horror genre specifically. This film has brought about what it meant to be a true horror film, and bring fans to a place that terrified them as children.

This news, however, is only one part of the puzzle that people are trying to solve. Yes, a release date is great news, but the other half of this coin is the casting of who will play the grownup Loser’s Club. Speculations abound, and many have thrown there hat into the ring of predicting which actors should play who, but nothing has been announced. I guess we’ll have to keep ourselves ready for what director Andy Muschietti has in store.

If you haven’t read our review, heck out our thoughts on the film here!
