So, just by a show of hands, how many of you actually saw this series growing up? Alright, a few of you. Now how many of you started watching it as an adult, still love it, and are so stoked to see this series? Yeah, me too.
Netflix has just released the official trailer to the long-anticipated series that we’ve all been excited for. After the announcement that SNL cast member Kate McKinnon would be voicing the iconic teacher, Ms. Frizzle, many fans sat idly by their computers waiting for a trailer. This morning, Netflix coincidentally dropped the trailer after all the kids had gone to school, and it was just us adults sitting at our computers, working and slaving away at our jobs. You sly dogs, Netflix.
The series, titled The Magic School Bus Rides Again, brings back the familiar voice of the original Ms. Frizzle, Lily Tomlin, as it seems that this Ms. Frizzle is off to tackle bigger endeavors in the world of education. In true Frizzle fashion, the torch is passed to her younger sister, Fiona Felicity Frizzle, as well as the bus keys. We then see all the great field trips and adventures the class will have fun on, and all the zaniness the new Ms. Frizzle will get them into!
