James Franco heist horror movie The Vault releases a totally NSFW clip

Does James Franco ever sleep? The actor, director, producer, rock star and all-around multi-hyphenate pop culture gadfly always seems to have a million projects on the go (we’re particularly excited about The Disaster Artist and HBO’s The Deuce) and one of the latest ones on his elephantine resume looks particularly irresistible, a hybrid heist/horror-thriller and splatter show directed by filmmaker Dan Bush (The Signal). We liked The Signal lots. We like Franco. So we’ll probably really like this.

The movie is called The Vault and it hits theaters and VOD on September 1st from FilmRise, who keep pumping out interesting stuff. It co-stars Taryn Manning (Orange Is The New Black, 8 Mile), Francesca Eastwood (daughter of Clint and co-star of FX’s Fargo) and Scott Haze (Midnight Special). We have the trailer for your eyeballs to assess below.

The Vault synopsisTwo estranged sisters are forced to rob a bank in order to save their brother. The heist begins smoothly, but mayhem ensues when the defiant bank manager sends them to a basement-level vault—home to something truly evil.

It’s Franco in mustache-mode, folks! Unleashing evil! Yes! Check out the totally NSFW Red Band clip from The Vault below and tell us what you think!
