Seems that the person who found this info is the real-deal, and can be trusted. He also stresses that this mention isn't a leftover from NVIDIA. This is specifically written/mentioned by Nintendo. We know Nintendo has at least contemplated VR, and with this bit of code popping up, it seems like they might be taking things pretty seriously. Thanks to cm30 for the heads up!
