At this point, it seems the issues with the Switch version of Overcooked: Special Edition have become quite a talking point. Multiple people are hitting up the devs to discuss issues. The official Twitter account has responded to someone discussing the bugs, and they responded by saying they're looking into an update right now. I'm sure an update will hit at some point. Hopefully it's not too far off, and it helps get the game back on track.
