Nintendo of Canada is coming to Fan Expo Toronto (Aug 31-Sept 3) and has a lot of activities lined up for people of all ages to enjoy! The Super Mario Odyssey™ game will be playable and there will be giveaways, while quantities last. People who pre-order the Super Mario Odyssey game at the EB Games booth while at Fan Expo will receive a special edition Super Mario Odyssey poster as a gift with purchase*! In addition to the playable demo, there will be a Super Mario Odyssey Goomba Stack statue for all visitors to take photos with at the Nintendo booth!
Visitors to the Nintendo booth will have the chance to play other popular Nintendo games including ARMS™, Splatoon™ 2 and two highly anticipated games Pokkén Tournament™ DX, and Metroid™: Samus Returns!

Attendees can also watch players compete for glory in invitational tournaments for the Splatoon 2 and Pokkén Tournament DX games. Plus, Fan Expo attendees will have the chance to qualify in an ARMS tournament on Saturday, September 2.Pokkén Tournament DX Invitational – Saturday, September 2 at 12:00 p.m.
Four Canadian gamers will step into the arena and battle to become the Ferrum League champion in Pokkén Tournament DX - weeks before the game launches for Nintendo Switch on September 22. Players will participate in a round-robin tournament, followed by a best-of-three, single-elimination semifinal stage and a best-of-five championship.
ARMS Tournament – Saturday. September 2 at 2:00 p.m.
Fan Expo attendees can put their fighting skills to the test in an epic ARMS battle. Participation in this tournament is open to Fan Expo attendees - qualifying rounds will be held at the Nintendo booth beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 2 (a limited number of spaces are available in the qualifying round).** Eight participants selected during qualifying will do battle in a single-elimination bracketed tournament for the chance to be crowned the ARMS Tournament champion.
Splatoon 2 Inkling Invitational – Sunday, September 3 at 3:00 p.m.
Fan Expo attendees can witness fierce competitors battle for ink-splatting glory in the Splatoon 2 Inkling Invitational. During this tournament, four Splatoon 2 teams will battle each other in a round-robin Turf War tournament. A single-elimination semifinals and final round will determine which Splatoon 2 team will reign supreme.
