Gudnason faces LaBeouf in the new Borg/McEnroe trailer
Curzon Artificial Eye has released the new international trailer for the real-life sports drama Borg/McEnroe, starring Sverrir Gudnason (Gentlemen), Shia LaBeouf (Fury) and Stellan Skarsgård (The Avengers). Check out the new Borg/McEnroe trailer below!
Borg/McEnroe is a film about one of the world’s greatest icons Björn Borg (Gudnason) and his biggest rival, the young and talented John McEnroe (LaBeouf) and their legendary duel during the 1980’s Wimbledon tournament. It’s a story about two men that became legends and the price they had to pay.
The Swedish film is directed by Janus Metz Pedersen (True Detective, Armadillo) from a screenplay by Ronnie Sandahl (Underdog). It is produced by Jon Nohrstedt (Easy Money) and Fredrik Wikström (A Man Called Love).
Borg/McEnroe doesn’t have a US release date yet, but is set to open in Norway, Sweden and the UK in September and Germany in October.
