When I was playing Sonic Mania, I had no problem spotting Eggman hanging upside-down in this giant spider. It seems some people saw something completely different, and now it's taking on a life all of its own.

Now the internet has given birth to Eggette, a fan-made Sonic character. Fans are coming up with a backstory, and creating tons of fan-art for the character. You have to wonder if SEGA has caught this fan movement yet!

I always saw Eggman, but did you see Eggette?
