XYZ Films (via AICN) has debuted the first trailer and poster for Beyond Skyline, the sequel to 2010’s sci-fi thriller Skyline. Check out the Beyond Skyline trailer below, along with the poster in the gallery!
Starring Frank Grillo (The Purge franchise), Iko Uwais (The Raid), Bojana Novakovic (Edge of Darkness) and Callan Mulvey (Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice), Beyond Skyline follows a tough-as-nails detective who embarks on a relentless pursuit to free his son from a nightmarish alien warship.
Liam O’’Donnell directs Beyond Skyline from a script written by himself and Joshua Cordes. The two penned the first Skyline. Greg and Colin Strause are producing. Eric Balfour, Scottie Thompson, Brittany Daniel, Crystal Reed, David Zayas and Donal Faison starred in the original Skyline, which opened in November of 2010 and grossed an estimated $66 million worldwide. Most of its financial success was done internationally (the film grossed $21 million Stateside).
