Spark set to return to Pokemon GO

Why was Spark removed from Pokemon GO? That we don't know, but Niantic has heard the concern from Pokemon GO fans. The company has confirmed that Spark will return in the game’s next client update. There's no official date for that, but let's hope we see it hit soon!
