Tetsuya Nomura has clarified the statements given to IGN. While speaking to Famitsu, he said that the current platforms, PS4 and Xbox One, are his top priority. Other platforms could be considered directly after, but certainly not right now. Next to this, Nomura didn't single out the Nintendo Switch as the only thing mentioned were ''other platforms''.
It seems like a Nintendo Switch release could be happening, but that is far from confirmed.
