According to Dengeki, Layton's Mystery Journey has sold through 75% of its initial shipment on Nintendo 3DS. That is pretty good, considering the game is also available on mobile devices. Dengeki mentions that the last game, Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy, sold 128.000 copies during its debut week. In total, that title sold 283.000 times.
