I am soooooooo on-board with this idea. I love the idea of being able to pick up a ship and customize it with the parts I want. I also think it's a smart move that those who want to play the game and don't want any of the figurines can do all the same stuff digitally. Buy the toys if you want, or skip them and get the same experience.
