Nintendo grabs another Splatoon-related trademark for Japan

Nintendo has filed a trademark application for ‘スプラ’ (Supura) in Japan. Sapura is the first part of the word Splatoon and a term commonly used in Japan. The trademark includes ‘portable electronic game machine’ as one of the several purposes listed. No idea what this will end up being used for, but we'll keep an eye on it!
