Japan - Super Famicom Classic Edition to see higher initial domestic shipments than Famicom Classic Edition

Nintendo is doing their best to get more units of the Super Famicom Classic Edition out onto shelves than the Famicom Classic Edition. The company confirmed to Nintendo that there will indeed be more Super Famicom Classic Edition units available in Japan at launch than the Famicom Classic Edition. The plan is to continue production/shipping until the end of 2017.
