Jackie Chan gets revenge in The Foreigner trailer and poster

GSC Cinemas has revealed the first trailer for STX Entertainment‘s dark revenge thriller The Foreigner, starring Jackie Chan (Rush Hour, Shanghai Noon) and Pierce Brosnan (Mama Mia!, The World’s End). This taut thriller stars world-renowned action stars Chan as a humble restaurant owner in London’s Chinatown. On a mission to track down the rogue Irish radicals responsible for his beloved daughter’s death, he’s forced to push his moral and physical boundaries beyond limits to overcome the mysterious foreign power (Brosnan) standing between him and the truth.
The film re-teams director Martin Campbell (Casino Royale, Edge of Darkness, Green Lantern) with Brosnan, whom he directed in 1995’s 007 film Goldeneye. David Marconi (Live Free or Die Hard) adapted the screenplay from Stephen Leather’s novel “The Chinaman.” Ray Fearon, Rory Fleck Byrne, Stephen Hogan, and Michael McElhatton co-star.
STX will release The Foreigner on October 13, 2017.
