Are SNES Classic Edition preorders being held back in the states due to FCC approval?

If you want to sell something like the SNES Classic Edition in the states, you need to get the approval of the FCC. You get a certification and a nice logo for your box. The SNES Classic Edition will no doubt receive its FCC approval, but it doesn't seem that's happened yet. Without that approval, the item cannot be sold stateside yet. This could very well be the reason we're waiting on preorders here in the states. Thanks to EyezofNight for the heads up!
