A24 has released the first trailer for their upcoming drama Good Time, set to premiere at the Cannes Film Festival and starring Robert Pattinson. Check out the Good Time trailer in the player below.
The film stars Robert Pattinson (Cosmopolis, The Twilight Saga), Jennifer Jason Leigh (The Hateful Eight, Anomalisa), and Barkhad Abdi (Captain Phillips, Blade Runner 2049), plus Buddy Duress, Taliah Wesbter, and co-director Benny Safdie.
After a botched bank robbery lands his younger brother in prison, Constantine “Connie” Nikas (Pattinson) embarks on a twisted odyssey through the city’s underworld in an increasingly desperate—and dangerous—attempt to get his brother Nick (Benny Safdie) out of jail. Over the course of one adrenalized night, Connie finds himself on a mad descent into violence and mayhem as he races against the clock to save his brother and himself, knowing their lives hang in the balance.
Directed by The Safdie brothers (Heaven Knows What) and scripted by Ronald Bronstein and Josh Safdie, the film will arrive in theaters on August 11.
