The complex layouts and puzzles of cursed forests, creepy catacombs, and castle dungeons can overwhelm even the most hardcore gamers. Whether you’re inadvertently falling through a trap floor or resetting a sliding block puzzle, laborious moments in dungeons can suddenly send you packing for the land of endless game walkthroughs a.k.a. the Internet. Admittedly, I’m just as guilty as the next person when it comes to my frequent dependence on hand-holding guides during those infamous labyrinthine sections of role-playing or adventure games.
