Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales will be coming to theaters later this month. To celebrate the upcoming film, Johnny Depp has participated in a very fun video. Dressed as Captain Jack Sparrow, the actor surprised fans inside the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. In addition to that, he also made an appearance at New Orleans Square. Disneyland guests gathered around as Depp (as Sparrow) made a rousing speech. The actor truly embraces his role and his fans, and not once did he break character.
There are several exciting moments. One includes a fan thinking that he’s just a robot. The look on his face was priceless. Many others were overjoyed and quickly whipped out their smartphones to capture the occasion. Depp is a heartthrob, and you can clearly hear the sounds of women screaming with pleasure. It’s as if they’re teenagers at a boy band concert in the ’90s.

Captain Jack Sparrow finds the winds of ill-fortune blowing even more strongly when deadly ghost pirates led by his old nemesis, the terrifying Captain Salazar, escape from the Devil’s Triangle, determined to kill every pirate at sea…including him. Captain Jack’s only hope of survival lies in seeking out the legendary Trident of Poseidon, a powerful artifact that bestows upon its possessor total control over the seas.
The film is directed by Joachim Rønning and Espen Sandberg (Kon-Tiki). It stars Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow, Geoffrey Rush as Captain Barbossa, Keira Knightly as Elizabeth Swann, Orlando Bloom as Will Turner, Kaya Scodelario as Carina Smyth, Brenton Thwaites as Henry, Golshifteh Farahani as Haifaa Meni, Kevin McNally as Gibbs, David Wenham as Scarfield and Javier Bardem as Captain Salazar.
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales hits theaters in theaters May 26 in 3D, RealD 3D and IMAX 3D.
