The rumor mill is cranking, and it is really cranking hard. This, however, has some ground seeing as Frieza is poised to make his return to Dragon Ball Super. But, he already came back and was defeated by Goku and Vegeta upon his return. So, what gives? Well, seeing as future Dragon Ball Super episode titles are released a few weeks before they air in Japan, one title may have spoiled a huge secret.

Episode 91 – You are the 10th Warrior! Goku Goes to Frieza
Now, the title flat out has Frieza’s name in it, so it’s practically set in stone. There have been some false titles or even some slightly different titles than what we’ve seen. And there hasn’t really been confirmation from Toei Animation of Frieza’s return. The promotion for the Tournament of Power has shown the 10 fighters below. The biggest surprise was the involvement of Android 17. But since the start of the Universal Survival Arc, those 10 fighters have been focused in the intro and even the commercial break jingle.
Another Enemy Becomes a Hero?
The rumor is that Majin Buu enters a deep sleep just like the Universe 6 & 7 Tournament that prevents him from entering. Seeing as it has happened before, it wouldn’t come as a surprise if it happens again. And seeing as the stakes are high, Goku will reach out to just about anyone to enter the tournament with them. Lots of fans have speculated the validity of the titles and there still isn’t anything confirming Frieza’s return. It’s possible that it could be a filler episode where Goku reaches a point of desperation just before Buu wakes up. Or it could be the real surprise of the Tournament of Power. Everything is still up in the air as to what will happen. Then the Epsiode 91 preview was shown after Goku and Gohan’s epic battle.
At the 0:16 mark, Goku says, “What’s wrong, Bulma? What? Something is wrong with Buu?” The scene accompanying that is the group sitting in a slight disbelief of the events transpiring. Buu could indeed be in his deep sleep making Goku and the rest desperate in their search for the 10th fighter.
Maybe the evil tyrant Frieza will join the ranks of the Z Warriors after all. One thing Goku hoped for Frieza was that he was a good person instead so that he would have him as a sparring partner instead of a nemesis. We will see soon enough if Goku gets his wish just like with Tien, Piccolo, Vegeta, Android 17 & 18 and Majin Buu.
