Switch save game data cannot be transferred via microSD card

Awhile back, we heard that Switch data saves on the Switch itself. Now we learn, even after the day-one update, you cannot transfer your Switch data through a microSD card. As of right now, save data is stuck on your Switch, so be very careful with how you handle it!
