- Capcom announced that two upcoming games will be playable at Monster Hunter Championships 2017 events
- The Great Ace Attorney 2 will be the first time playable
- Capcom will also offer some goodies to players who try it out
- Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers available as well
- players will be able to switch between the retro and HD graphics, play with two players using the Joy-Cons, and chose among 19 playable characters
- some item packs for Monster Hunter XX, along with some goodies, will also be distributed
The dates for the championship events, which feature both Monster Hunter XX and Stories:
Tokyo: April 23
Nagoya: April 30
Fukuoka: May 5
Osaka: May 14
Sendai: May 21
Sapporo: May 27
Finals: June 25 (only for Monster Hunter XX)
