Ghost In the Shell will hit theaters on March 31, though we’ve gotten a number of clips from the film. We’ve seen some of the shelling sequence that is famous from the 1995 anime, the water fight and more. Today we have a Ghost In the Shell extended clip of the building jump, which comes to us from the Paramount Pictures YouTube page. The film stars Scarlett Johansson as Major, an elite warrior who battles cybercrime. Though most humans in this future world have some sort of cybernetic enhancement, Major is completely remade as a soldier. She’s trying to find out what makes her human, in this film directed by Rupert Sanders (Snow White and the Huntsman).

Here is the official synopsis: “In the near future, Major is the first of her kind: A human saved from a terrible crash, who is cyber-enhanced to be a perfect soldier devoted to stopping the world’s most dangerous criminals. When terrorism reaches a new level that includes the ability to hack into people’s minds and control them, Major is uniquely qualified to stop it. As she prepares to face a new enemy, Major discovers that she has been lied to: her life was not saved, it was stolen. She will stop at nothing to recover her past, find out who did this to her and stop them before they do it to others. Based on the internationally acclaimed Japanese Manga, ‘The Ghost in the Shell.’”

The cast of Ghost in the Shell also includes Beat Takeshi Kitano as Daisuke Aramaki, Juliette Binoche as Dr. Ouelet, Michael Pitt as Kuze, Pilou Asbæk as Batou, and Kaori Momoi. The members of Section 9 are played by Chin Han, Danusia Samal, Lasarus Ratuere, Yutaka Izumihara and Tuwanda Manyimo.
