Dystopian horror thriller Drifter shoots to kill in this exclusive clip
Post apocalyptic wasteland. Gas-guzzling muscle cars. Sweaty, greasy tough guys. Violence. Guns. Flesh eating man-monsters. You know the drill. The dystopian action horror film is alive and well again after the recent success of Mad Max: Fury Road and director/co-writer Chris von Hoffman’s new thriller Drifter is taking advantage of that wave. And he’s throwing in more than a dose of the dusty, ruthless horror of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre for good measure.
Aria Emory (who also co-wrote), Drew Harwood, Monique Rosario, Anthony Ficco, Rebecca Fraiser and James McCabe star in this tale of a pair of outlaw brothers are held captive in a desolate town run by a small family of psychotic cannibalistic lunatics and their sadistic Mayor. Drifter hits theaters on February 24th and VOD and iTunes on February 28th from XLrator Media.
