Fans of Moana will have another reason to tune in beyond seeing if 2016’s smash animated hit wins Oscars for Best Animated Film and Best Original Song. Lin-Manuel Miranda and Auli’i Cravalho will take the stage to sing the Oscar nominated song, How Far I’ll Go during the broadcast. Miranda tweeted about the news on his personal Twitter account.
A win for Miranda in the category will make him a member of the very exclusive EGOT club, having already won an Emmy, a Grammy and many, many Tony’s. But one thing’s for sure, regardless of if he wins, once the duo take the stage, we’re all winners for the evening.
