The NIS America event had a slew of new announcements for PS4, Vita, Steam, and even the Nintendo Switch. The only game they had at the event for the upcoming system was Disgaea 5 Complete set to release on May 23rd in North America and May 26th in Europe.
Although this may be the 5th entry in the hilarious turn-based strategy series, newcomers like me can easily enter the fray with this entry that’s been out on PS4 since last year. Only difference is this comes with the game Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance and the additional paid content. You’ll also be able to play the game on the go thanks to the Nintendo Switch’s Off-TV Play, but a representative told me that they currently have no plans to utilize the system’s capacitive touch screen.
Disgaea fans will have this to look forward to if they plan to get a Switch and missed out on the PS4 release, but future Switch owners may find interest if they’re fans of games like Fire Emblem.
