Meet Sanrio’s newest character, Aggretsuko.

Unlike the other happy Sanrio characters (aside from Gudetama), Aggretsuko is a 25-year-old single workaholic who is obviously overworked and underappreciated at her office job. To deal with the pain, she drinks beer and sings heavy metal music late at night, before starting her routine all over again.

In the Twitter video posted by Sanrio, Aggretsuko wakes up and commutes to work by metro to her office associate job of a trading company in Tokyo. Just when she is about to leave for the day, her boss comes in with stacks of papers for her to complete. This sparks an internal anger from the small red panda, which she vents by singing heavy metal at karaoke. It’s adorable and scary at the same time.

It does seem a bit reminisce of Office Space. Who knows if she’s going to crack one day and burn down the whole building? Maybe.
