The upcoming musical crossover episode of The Flash and Supergirl has become one of the most anticipated crossovers of the CW universe. With heavy inspiration from Joss Whedon’s Buffy the Vampire Slayer musical episode, The CW plans to use the Music Meister as the villain for the episode. Bringing in another Glee alum, Darren Criss, he will be reunited with former Glee stars-turned-superheroes, Grant Gustin and Melissa Benoist.
Executive producer Andrew Kreisberg talked to TVLine about the upcoming 2-part episode which will premiere on March 20th and March 21st:
“With our Flash and our Supergirl being Glee alums, how could we not have them go up against another Glee favorite like Darren Criss? We have been blown away by his talent over the years and we can’t wait to see what he brings to the Music Meister”.
Joining the Glee alums will be Jesse L. Martin (The Flash, Rent), Carlos Valdes (The Flash, Once), and Jeremy Jordan (Supergirl, Rock of Ages), and Victor Garber (Legends of Tomorrow, Deathtrap, Sweeney Todd and Noises Off, Damn Yankees).
You can catch Supergirl on Monday nights, The Flash and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow on Tuesday nights, and Arrow on Wednesday nights all on the CW.
