It’s been a while since we last heard of Annabelle 2, the spinoff sequel to 2014’s Annabelle. Although we don’t have a brand new trailer, Warner Bros has released a haunting new image featuring the Annabelle doll and Talitha Bateman. Check it out!

After the excellent Lights Out came out last year, I’m interested to see what David F. Sandberg has in store for us with Annabelle 2. Judging by the image, his creepy use of light and darkness is still there with this ominous setting.

In “Annabelle 2,” several years after the tragic death of their little girl, a dollmaker and his wife welcome a nun and several girls from a shuttered orphanage into their home, soon becoming the target of the dollmaker’s possessed creation, Annabelle.
