According to a source for VGLeaks, the 30th anniversary (2017) of Final Fantasy will deliver the goods to its fans. It’s said that it will have releases of Final Fantasy II and III, which will receive official English translations, to the newer ports of Final Fantasy VII to IX. That year is also the supposed first episode release of Final Fantasy VII Remake. The 30th Anniversary edition of the games will come in 3 forms Regular, Collectors, and Crystal Complete.
The Regular will give you poster with your game.
The Collector’s Edition will have games, poster, art book, 8-bit Black Mage keychain, Chocobo plush and two discs with a selection of songs chosen by Nobuo Uematsu.the Crystal Complete Edition will have the games (Final Fantasy 30th Anniversary Collection titles (FF I to IX), Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD, Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age, Final Fantasy XIII Trilogy, Final Fantasy XV (+DLC), Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn (including all expansions + a 3 month subscription), Final Fantasy XI mobile, and Final Fantasy XIV.
The Crystal Complete Edition will have the games (Final Fantasy 30th Anniversary Collection titles (FF I to IX), Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD, Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age, Final Fantasy XIII Trilogy, Final Fantasy XV (+DLC), Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn (including all expansions + a 3 month subscription), Final Fantasy XI mobile, and Final Fantasy XIV. But wait there’s more, you also get a 2-disc soundtrack, Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV, Brotherhood: Final Fantasy XV, Black Mage Statue, Moogle plush, crystal necklace, and Final Fantasy trading card decks (x3). All this in an ornate luxury box with the Final Fantasy logo. This will be sold in limited quantities on Square Enix website.
If all this pans out, then I’ll be trying to grab the Crystal Complete Edition. I’m a sucker for those kinds of things.
