Star Trek Timelines, in the coming days, will see its largest update yet with the release of version 1.6.0. Jam-packed with bug fixes, quality-of-life improvements, and behind-the scenes optimizations, 1.6.0 is sure to delight players new and old. Here are a few of the features we are most excited about:
Crew Slots
One of the improvements most commonly requested by players has been the ability to collect a larger number of their favorite crew. We’ve heard that loud and clear, and we’ve both raised the cap on crew slots and reduced the cost of the highest tier of crew slot purchases by 500 dilithium. Captains will be able to purchase up to 50 additional crew slots at this time. In addition we will run community events in which players will be able to earn additional free crew slots. The first event began on Wednesday, December 14th. Players are tasked with collectively completing 1.5 million shuttle missions in seven days. If successful, all players will be granted 5 free crew slots.
Faction Shop Crew Purchases
Each faction shop will now have a slot where crew aligned with that faction can be purchased for dilithium. These crew will be randomly selected every day and will include Legendary and Limited Time crew.
Supply Kits
New Supply Kits will be available in the Time Portal. These kits provide a valuable 24-hour boost, reducing the chroniton cost of missions, providing bonus credits and increasing crew experience gains. What’s more, Captains can purchase multiple kits at once, stacking them together to create even longer bonus periods.
Weekend Advanced Cadet Challenges
On Sundays, players will be able to complete Advanced Cadet Challenges using rare crew to earn exciting new rewards.
Replicator Fuel
Earned by successfully completing Advanced Cadet Challenges, this valuable resource is highly efficient in the replicator, worth many times the replicator value of items of the same rarity.
