If you have finished the latest Final Fantasy and are still playing it, then you will be happy to hear that along with the holiday update, you will also be getting access to New Game+. New Game+ will allow players to carry all their gear, abilities, and Ascension tree into their following playthroughs to give fans another reason to continue on their FFXV binge sessions. The Holiday Pack along with New Game+ will be free and available to all inside the December 22nd update.
Inside the free Holiday Pack are 4 items:
- Choco-Mog T-shirt – available in January update
- Carnival Passport – an adorably adorned ticket that whisks the bearer away to a fun-filled carnival for a limited time.
- Nixperience Band – Device that increases the challenge level by stopping experience points from being tallied, preventing the party from leveling up.
- Warrior’s Fanfare – Scroll of Sheet Music containing a song of Jubilation that provides additional AP for earning an A+ in Offense during combat outside of training.
As with almost all games nowadays, the $25 Season Pass holders will get access to even more content including:
- Festive Ensemble
- Photo Frames- Festive Themes the player can add to Prompto’s Photos when sharing to social media.
- Stamina Badge- Device that enables Noctis to sprint and hang without expending stamina (Exclusive to Noctis)
- Key of Prosperity- A lucky charm that increases the rate at which fallen foes leave behind items of value.
- Tactician’s Fanfare- Scroll of Sheet Music containing a song of Jubilation that provides additional AP for earning an A+ in Finesse during combat outside of training.
- Blitzer’s Fanfare- Scroll of Sheet Music containing a song of Jubilation that provides additional AP for earning an A+ in Time during combat outside of training.
- Armiger Accelerator- Device that accelerates the Armiger bar replenishment rate, but freezes the tech bar. (Exclusive to Noctis)
- Tech Turbocharger- Device that accelerates the tech bar replenishment rate, but freezes the Armiger bar. (Exclusive to Noctis)
- Ring of Resistance- A protective piece of jewelry that renders the entire party resistant to magical friendly fire.
Keep in mind that the Carnival Passport and other Carnival clothing items will go live when the Moogle Chocobo Carnival begins at an unspecified date in January.
