Nathan Fillion, who has starred in Firefly and ABC’s Castle, is helping out Zimmer Children’s Museum of Los Angeles by promoting an online T-shirt campaign. He has teamed up with Creation Stands for the campaign that started on November 14th. It will end on Monday, November 28th.
For the campaign, you can get a “Take Your Pick” vintage-style t-shirt for $25. It features six different characters played by Fillion, with each being a different colored headshot. All of the proceeds will go to the Zimmer Children’s Musem.
“It’s brilliant that Creation Stands make is so easy for people to stand behind their fandom, and stand for a good cause at the same time,” said Fillion. “Best of all, I’m giving 100% of my proceeds to the Zimmer Children’s Museum. It’s a great local nonprofit, with programs that not only teach community values but that also helps students, empowering them with self-expression and leadership skills.”
The museum acts as both a museum and a youth development organization. Kids 8 and under can learn in the free-play learning experiences and the YouThink program caters to middle and high school students from underserved schools with arts education, leadership and civic engagement programs.
