If you’re a fan of Visual Novel games or the Sword fighting era of feudal Japan, then look no further than Hakuoki: Kyoto Winds. This visual novel title features many of Shinsengumi from the previous Hakuoki games as well as a few new faces, all of which are fighting to uphold their faith. The Shinsengumi come to the rescue of a lone Chizuru Yukimura, after she is attacked by samurai on her journey to Kyoto.
Undoubtedly like other visual novel games, you will be placed in situations where you must pick sides, and your choices will determine which Shinsengumi will align with you or against you.
From the teaser it appears that not everyone will get a happy ending, but we will just have to wait until its release to see each of the Shinsengumi’s fates.
Hakuoki: Kyoto Winds is scheduled for spring of 2017 exclusively on the PS Vita and PS TV.
