Quentin Tarantino is an Oscar-winning director that has released many films throughout the past several years. Some would say that there have been more hits than misses, but that’s another story. Whatever the case may be, it looks like there’s a petition that’s been started to try and get Tarantino to be the next director for the Deadpool franchise. This is the immediate reaction from the fans after it was revealed that the previous director, Tim Miller, had parted ways with the film’s sequel.
Tarantino is no stranger to violence in his movies. In fact, a majority of the films he’s released have some sort of heightened violence and gore displayed on the screen. This would be a great marriage for a Deadpool sequel movie since Deadpool is goofy, quirky, and violent, like a normal Tarantino film. Tarantino has stated that he wanted to direct a superhero film in the past, albeit he wanted to do one for Luke Cage, however, that’s now highly unlikely since there’s a Netflix series now available.
