It’s going to be a busy few months for fans of Square Enix.
Last month was the release of Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten, this week was the release of Dragon Quest Builders, and on October 25th, it will be the release of World of Final Fantasy. This will lead into the releases of Final Fantasy XV next month and finally Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue.
With the upcoming release of World of Final Fantasy, Square Enix uploaded the cinematic anime opening via its Youtube Channel. The game follows, Two siblings journeying to a mysterious land to rediscover their lost memories. In this peculiar place where stacking things on one’s head is perfectly normal, the young monster tamers will encounter new friends and familiar FINAL FANTASY heroes as they learn the truth about their pasts.
Square Enix will release the game in a Day One Edition that includes bonus DLC (a Sephiroth summon, a Red Bonnetberry, a White Chocobo, a Glow Moogle, and a Japanese voice track) which will retail for $59.99 for the PlayStation 4 version or $39.99 for the Vita version.
You can also pick up the Limited Edition of the game which includes a special 24-page artbook showing off the stunning WORLD OF FINAL FANTASY creative direction which retails for $59.99 and includes the Day One Edition bonus DLC. Finally, for an extra $60, you can pre-order the Square Enix Store Exclusive Collector’s Edition which includes a special 60-page hardcover artbook, a set of three mini figures (Squall, Cloud and Lightning), a pop-up book, and an original soundtrack.
