A few weeks ago we were given a treat with new Power Rangers posters teasing the new Zords. Each ranger was shown in full costume while sitting on their respective Zord. The Power Rangers Movie is only a five months away and we’ve yet to see anything beyond stills, and a trailer has yet to be seen. We do, on the other hand, have our first look at one of the ranger’s weapons, specifically the Red Ranger’s Power Sword.
This image is actually a really good look at the Power Sword and its notable changes. At first glance it looks more like a blaster than a sword and looking at the hilt, I’m confused as to how anyone is supposed to hold it. The blade itself appears to be connected rather than a solid blade, possibly being detachable and retractable, which would be a cool feature. This is only one angle of the Power Sword and footage from a trailer could show it in action.
For now, get a good look at it and enjoy how amazing it looks.
