This is a big weekend for nerd culture in Los Angeles. We have Stan Lee’s LA Comic Con, and yours truly will be co-moderating the Nerd Reactor panel on Saturday, October 29th, inside the Los Angeles Convention Center’s South Hall. And on that same weekend in LA is the League of Legends World Championship, the largest annual eSports event for the popular MOBA video game featuring music, art, cosplay and more.
The World event will begin on Friday, October 28th, at 5pm. There will be live orchestra performance of in-game music, USC’s marching band, and Riftwalk, a life-size recreation of the Summoner’s Rift map from the game.
