A few months ago when we first heard that the Tower of Terror at Disneyland might be transformed into a new Guardians of the Galaxy-themed ride, reactions were split. Some people were happy at the idea, and was looking forward to seeing new changes come to the old ride. At the same time, there were many that felt like the ride is a large part of Disney history, and should be left untouched.
For those that didn’t want the change, I’m sorry to leave you heartbroken as Disney has just revealed the preview of the all-new Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT ride. The Tower of Terror will now become the Collector’s Fortress. In the video below, you’ll see what Disney Imagineers have been up to in what they plan on doing visually to the new ride. Check it out for yourself below.
The exterior will have the appearance of a “warehouse, fortress-like power plant,” and will include audio effects and visuals as well as music, all inspired by the Guardians of the Galaxy film. I definitely cannot wait to check this out, as I’ve been a huge fan of the movie. Not to mention also being a Disneyland Annual Passholder. Are you excited to check out this new ride?
