This year Pokemon Trading Card Game is celebrating its 20th anniversary. Though the 50th is usually marked as the Gold anniversary, Pokemon Company and Tanaka Precious Metals are teaming up to release its first Pikachu card. That is the fat Pikachu before he was put on that low-carb diet.
The card will be made of pure gold, 11 grams of 24-karat gold, and will be encapsulated in an acrylic display case. Of course, with such a luxurious card, it will come with a luxurious price to go with it ($2,100). If you order between now and November 7th, delivery will be made in late December.
