Japan and other parts of Asia already have a competitive scene for Tekken 7: Fated Retribution, thanks to the game being available at the arcades. While the game will see a release in the West in Early 2017 on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, it’s been confirmed that Tekken 7 will see an arcade release thanks to Round 1 this December.
The arcade cabinets will be available at all Round 1 locations. The arcade and bowling center has worked with various publishers in the past including Bandai Namco Entertainment to hold special location testing for various games including Pokken Tournament, Project Diva and a few other titles.
It wasn’t specified which Tekken 7 will be playable, but with Fated Retribution so close to release, it would only make sense for it to be featured in arcades since it features quite a bit more content.
