Time to vote! Which was your favorite feature from past Sonic games?

Oh man, I don't want to pick any of these! I'm not trying to sound snarky with my answer, but I wish I could say the lack of emphasis on story. I liked Sonic games because gameplay came first, and story was simple and to the point. Gave me enough to be interested and motivate me through. I feel the story in Sonic Mania was exactly what I was looking for. Who knows though, as I'm a billion years old and out of touch.
