Riverdale Chapter Thirty-Two promo: Prisoners
Following last night’s musical episode of Riverdale, in which the Riverdale High Drama Department presented their Spring Production of “Carrie: The Musical,” The CW has released next week’s Chapter Thirty-Two promo, “Prisoners,” the 19th episode of Riverdale‘s second season. Riverdale‘s Carrie performance ended in an actual murder in the middle of the musical, which informs the events in next week’s episode that is set to air on April 25 and is officially described as follows:
“After an incident at Riverdale High leaves the town on edge, Archie (KJ Apa) leads the charge to uncover the culprit. Meanwhile, the reveal of a devastating secret leads to a violent showdown between Chic (guest star Hart Denton), Jughead (Cole Sprouse), Betty (Lili Reinhart) and Alice (Madchen Amick). Elsewhere, Veronica (Camila Mendes) takes matters into her own hands when someone from her past comes to town seeking revenge. Finally, Hermoine (Marisol Nichols) and Cheryl (Madelaine Petsch) conspire to take down Sheriff Keller (guest star Martin Cummins). Luke Perry, Ashleigh Murray, Mark Consuelos, Skeet Ulrich and Casey Cott also star. Jennifer Phang directed the episode written by Cristine Chambers.”
KJ Apa stars as Archie Andrews in the series along with Lili Reinhart as Betty Cooper, Camila Mendes as Veronica Lodge, Ashleigh Murray as Josie McCoy, Cole Sprouse as Jughead Jones and Madelaine Petsch as Cheryl Blossom.
Based on the characters from Archie Comics, Riverdale hails from Warner Bros. Television and CBS Television Studios, in association with Berlanti Productions, with executive producers Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter and Jon Goldwater.
