Luigi's Balloon World was revealed for Super Mario Odyssey during the latest Nintendo Direct Mini. While we got the gist of the idea from that presentation, Nintendo has now added new details via their Japanese website.
- once you complete the main story, Luigi will appear in the different kingdoms
- partake in “Hide It” and “Find It” modes
In “Hide It”, ratings are given for:
- Amount of obtained coins
- Times you have played with the balloons
In “Find It”, ratings are given for:
- Amount of obtained coins
- Total amount of discovered balloons
- Streak number for balloons discovered in short time
- when playing Balloon World, each kingdom may have weather or time changes
Nintendo also showed off a handful of new costumes coming to Super Mario Odyssey in the Nintendo Direct Mini, but apparently they have more in the works. Other costumes will be added to the game after the February update. No details on these other costumes were given.
