Batman: The Enemy Within Episode 2 trailer premieres
Telltale Games has released the official trailer for Batman: The Enemy Within Episode 2, the next chapter in the second season of their interactive Batman title. Check it out in the player below!
Titled “The Past,” the next episode is set to arrive October 3 and is described as follows: “As explosions rock Gotham, Batman races to meet a new foe, but encounters a force that may cause even the Dark Knight to fall. In the guise of the billionaire, Bruce meets John Doe’s ‘friends’ and becomes enmeshed in a plot where the only way out is to go deeper in. But at what cost?”
The next chapter sees the debut of fan-favorite character, Harley Quinn, in the game series.
“In keeping with our efforts to create our own unique take on the Batman canon, we’ve worked hard to craft an interpretation of the character that captures her essential qualities while still framing her in a new way,” Telltale’s Scott Butterworth writes on the official site. “The power dynamic between Harley and ‘John Doe’ should prove especially…intriguing.”
In addition, the big bad back breaker himself, Bane, appears to be hinted at in the closing moments of the trailer.
Batman: The Enemy Within Episode 2 will be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, iOS and Android-based devices on the same day.
